OFFICE POLICIES Our office hours are: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Patients are seen by appointment only. We are sorry but we can not accommodate "walk in" patients. Appointments are given by referral from our patients' physicians only. It is also imperative that you understand due to the specialty of the practice there will be times when emergencies arise and those patients must take priority. We will notify you as soon as we are made aware of any emergency that takes the doctor out of the office or causes a significant delay. Instructions for new patients: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. You will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire. This can also be accomplished prior to your appointment. Download the medical history form. Please bring: Insurance card(s) so that we can update this information. List of medications and dosage that you are currently taking (including vitamins, herbs, and over the counter medications) Hemorrhoids or anorectal problems: Do two fleets enemas 1-2 hours prior to your appointment. Fleets enemas may be purchased over the counter at most pharmacies and supermarkets. Breast disease: Please obtain your mammogram and Ultrasound films prior to your visit and bring them with you to your appointment. If your mammogram was done at Vero Radiology we will obtain the films for you. Otherwise, call the facility where you had the studies, at least two days prior to your appointment to make necessary arrangements. Please be sure the radiology reports are included with the films. After hours calls are routed directly to Dr. Murphy's voice mail. Please listen carefully to the message as it gives you instructions on how to correctly place your call. You are encouraged to call Dr. Murphy whenever a problem arises no matter the hour. He will return your call promptly.
